Midcentury Danish sideboard in teak by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup 1960s
This sideboard is designed by Ib Kofod Larsen and manufactured by Faarup in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a stunning piece of furniture! A true example of the best quality manufacturing and materials. There are very beautiful drawings in the wood. The sideboard has 4 drawers and 2 rolling doors. Inside there are 3 shelves. The back of the sideboard is finished with veneer, so it could be used as room divider. The drawer fronts are 1 piece of solid teak, so the handles are carved out of the solid wood. True craftsmanship!
This sideboard is made of teak and is in very good condition due to our own workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments. The rolling door on the right side opens well, but runs less smoothly at the end. It is possible to open the door completely.
